We are seeking professional, passionate and energetic teachers who are able to successfully manage and facilitate classrooms, develop lesson plans and curriculums & effectively promote emotional, physical, mental and social well being in the classroom environment.
This position requires a minimum of 60 college credit hours with 6 credit hours focusing in early childhood education . Applicants must meet the state licensing requirements through the Department of Children and Family Services and have 3-5 years experience in an early childhood environment.
Assistant Teachers are needed for classrooms for children ages two through six. Under the supervision of the teacher or Director, this position provides assistance for the well being and instruction of the children. This person will assist with the day to day operations of the classroom, outside activities, lunch preparation, etc. A minimum of 3 –6 hours in early childhood education is preferred and 1-3 years experience working with children in a classroom environment or licensed home day care. Class Room Aide - Part Time Afternoons - 3:00 - 6:30This person will assist with various duties in the classroom. This person will prepare snacks, manage and maintain the classroom, and assist with the afternoon duties. The classroom aide will work with a strong diverse team and have the opportunity to learn from educators with over 30 years of teaching experience.
This is a perfect position for a college student pursing a bachelors or master degree in early child hood education.
FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHER:
If you fluently speak another language and enjoy working in an early childhood environment, this is the perfect position for you. We are seeking part time Foreign Language Immersion Instructors. This person will conduct 30-60 minute classes teaching young children their native language. Preferred languages are Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese. Must enjoy working with children!!
