We're located just 15 minutes north of Milwaukee and this opportunity is for a 40 hours weekly and is responsible for maintaining the office's smooth day-to-day operations. Qualified candidates will possess a medical background, be personable, organized, detailed and self-motivated. Answer phones and field questions from potential and existing clients and their families
Greet clients and/or their families who arrive for appointments with their healthcare provider
Verifying insurance eligibility
Manage schedules of psychiatrists, therapists and psychologists
Assist as needed with general clerical duties, such as: bookkeeping, copying, faxing, mailing, filing and opening and closing procedures of office
Coordinate and maintain records for staff, office space, telephones, office access -- keys, alarm systems.
Maintain inventory of office equipment and supplies.
Arrange for the repair and maintenance of office equipment.
General office coordination and other duties as assigned
Desired Skills & Experience
Qualified Candidates:
Familiarity with medical office, prescription, scheduling procedures preferred
Must be computer literate and have the ability to operate standard office equipment: computers, telephone systems, printers, etc.
Proficiency with MS Word/Excel preferred, as well as rudimentary IT knowledge and experience
Familiarity with insurance verification procedures preferred
Will possess good writing, analytical and problemsolving skills.
Will have the ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
Must have the ability to see tasks through to completion.
Candidates should be flexible with work hours as the need sometimes exists to work odd and/or additional hours to ensure the completion of tasks.
Education: High school diploma required and some college experience and/or degree preferred. Relevant experience in quality customer service and healthcare or business preferred. Applicants must be a U.S. Resident or currently able to legally work in the U.S.
