Director of Field Sales Operations Vacancy @ NovaSam in Glen Burnie, MD

JOB SUMMARY:

Efficiently and cost effectively plans, manages, directs and controls sales operation while meeting or exceeding annual established revenue growth and supporting profit contribution goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, the following duties:

1. Manages and directs the day-to-day sales activities of the account managers in the assigned area
2. Measures, analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of account managers to determine progress toward achieving established goals and objectives and takes appropriate corrective action when necessary to ensure the achievement of quarterly and annual sales goals.
3. Actively monitors metrics and mobilizes sales resources accordingly
4. mplements sales strategies and best practices to ensure execution and consistency amongst sales team
5. Maintains relationships within the mid levels of field partners (DME, manufacturer, etc.)
6. Directs and monitors effective employee recruitment, staffing, training and communications programs including independent representatives assigned to region
7. Identifies threats and opportunities from a field level and communicates them to the National Sales Director
8. Directly responsible for revenue goals and objectives.
9. Develops and prepares business plan for region and monitors ongoing performance to plan compliance
10. Adheres to company standards of business ethics
11.  Interfaces with Director of Payer relations to secure new managed care contracts

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Required:

• 5 years of progressive healthcare experience in sales
• Proficient in salesforce.com or other comparable CRM software

·        Minimum one year management experience

• Proficient in computer skills and personal time management

·        Excellent communication skills, oral and written communication skill set must be at a very strong level to be successful

• Excellent organizational skills

EDUCATION: 
Required: Bachelors Degree             
Preferred: Masters degree
