Position: Sales Director
Location: Downtown Apex NC
Timing: Immediate
Travel: 15% - 25% depending on season
Salary: $55K - $65K commensurate with experience, plus commissions

Co-Options, founded in 1994, is a best-in-class partnership marketing boutique agency, serving fortune 100 consumer packaged goods and services clients and retailers. CoOptions specializes in multi-brand themed cooperative sampling, couponing, media and event programs executed at major retailers (e.g., Walmart, Target, Kroger, Publix, Food Lion and others).
The position, reporting directly to the VP of Sales, will focus on managing group of established CPG accounts as well as calling on new CPG clients and retailers.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ years sales experience in CPG, agency, retailer or broker businesses; shopper marketing or promotions a plus
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Candidate should have hunter mentality and comfort in closing business
• BS in Marketing or BS in Business Administration with understanding of marketing
Preferred Skills:
• Articulate and excellent written communication skills
• Fast learner / ability to absorb new material quickly
• Ability to manage multiple programs/projects
• Self-starter and original thinker
• Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
• Prefer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus
• Experience with Mac computers a plus
