Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Project support across teams including:
- Research and develop critical documents for project management
- Events management (compile guest lists, track attendance, logistical support)
- Assist with communications
- Manage calendar/scheduling
- Arrange travel/accommodation
- Assist with the preparation of presentation materials and background documents
- VIP visits – Programs and schedules
- Manage contacts and data records
- An assigned role on the British Council’s financial system
- Maintain stationery supplies and office equipment
- Assist with general inquiries in collaboration with the British Council Information Centre (BCIC) staff in the UK
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in relevant subject such as international relations, public diplomacy, political science, liberal arts, communications, education
- Experience with Word, Outlook, Excel, and Databases
- Experience of administrative/office work with evidence of successful team working and a positive attitude
- Project management and budget skills are desirable
- Proven communication skills (especially in writing)
- Ability to use social media
- High level of professionalism
- Demonstrated interest in the United Kingdom
