The job involves selling homeowners insurance policies to customers contacting us for quotes via phone, internet and mail.
There is no cold calling. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to explaining various insurance coverages, educating our customers on insurance and comparing our product and rates to their current or prior homeowners insurance policy, underwriting to ensure that the customer meets our underwriting guidelines, running underwriting reports and following up via telephone, internet and mail with potential customers. The sales representative must be timely, professional and courteous in responding to applicant and escrow officer requests.
Our sales department is fast-paced and highly automated. The ideal candidate will have excellent sales and closing skills, excellent customer service skills, a positive outlook, patience and excellent listening and communication skills. This position offers excellent earnings potential. Current agents average earnings are between $50,000 - $100,000/year.
Candidate must be proficient with basic automated systems.
A Property/Casualty Insurance License is required.
Sales experience with a successful track record required.
Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese is preferred.
