Telecommuting Sales Account Executives Wanted @ Zlux in New York, NY


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prospecting businesses for the purpose of selling Zlux electroluminescent displays for the advertising, P.O.P. and retail display industries.
  • Must be energetic, driven, a problem solver, and most importantly, a goal-oriented individual.
  • Ability to think quickly and effectively manage a sales cycle from qualification, needs assessment, through close is key.
  • Consistently meeting and then exceeding sales goals, demonstrating focused sales efforts, and an understanding of the general display advertising environment.
  • Assessing potential business deals, negotiating favorable terms, and acquiring prospect commitment.
  • Constructing deals within selling guidelines (product offerings, pricing, etc).
  • Serving as a liaison between Zlux and targeted client prospects.
  • Communicate ongoing contact/sales activities through verbal updates and weekly reports.
  • Displaying a thorough understanding of assigned target industries and Zlux's competitive advantages.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or Communications
  • POP Display, retail and signage experience
  • 5+ years experience in advertising/display sales is a must
  • Established contacts within the media industry including contacts at agencies and/or with advertisers
  • Experience with traditional/non-traditional ad sales
  • The ability to think outside the box as well as strong negotiating skills
  • Proven negotiating skills leading to profitable relationships within the industry
  • Ability to interact with both internal team members and external clients
  • Demonstration of strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and decision-making skills
Compensation:
Salary plus commission, bonuses, travel expenses, holidays, 401k.
