Global Company Entry Level Controls Engineer @ Automation Techies in Wisconsin, USA



Position requires you to develop and apply automation control solutions to improve and support production operations.  Lead diagnostic and improvement efforts on existing automation and provide support on capital projects as required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
 Production support for:
-Electrical/PLC system (including pneumatic systems)
-Robotics systems
-Machine vision & sensor systems
- Servo control systems
-Production data transfer systems (PLC to Network communications)

Vision system Improvements - specification, programming and installation

Project support including:
-Design of control systems using 2D CAD (AutoCAD).
-Control system programming
-Vision/sensor/pneumatic/servo system design
-Cost estimating for project proposals
-Ordering

Required Skills:
Excellent communication skills are required as the electrical engineer will work with plant staff, engineers, supervisors, maintenance technicians, quality control and production employees.
PC skills needed include Word, Excel, Access, 2D CAD, Project and PLC/Control related software. SAP experience is a plus.

Job Type:
Full-Time/Regular

Required Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering (or equivalent major)

Minimum of 1-2 yrs experience specifying, programming, installing and diagnosing:
-Vision systems
-Industrial and automation control systems

The preferred candidate would have:
-Experience with servo programming
-Experience programming visual basic and database script
-Competencies with PLC to Network communications

1-2 Years Experience

Level of Education:
 4 Year Degree
