Vacancies for a Preventive Medicine Specialist in NORMAN, Oklahoma, United States

Preventive medicine is essential to maintaining the health and well-being of all Army National Guard Soldiers and personnel. Preventive Medicine Specialists study and prevent the spread of disease and infection within the Army National Guard. As a Preventive Medicine Specialist you will conduct or assist with inspections, surveys, and laboratory procedures. You may also supervise facilities or serve on preventive medicine staffs, as well as develop community health education programs.

You'll be able to use your Preventive Medicine Specialist experience to prepare for a future with privately owned research institutions, public health departments, and the environmental sciences professions.

Instead of paying to learn these skills, get paid to train. In the Army National Guard, you will learn these valuable job skills while earning a regular paycheck and qualifying for tuition assistance.

Job training for Preventive Medicine Specialists consists of 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you'll learn basic Soldiering skills, and 15 weeks of Advanced Individual Training. Training consists of both classroom and field work.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications. Actual MOS assignment may depend on MOS availability. Benefits subject to change.
